The cardio still has to happen.

My stats: 25yrs old, 6'2" 190. I've got a pretty clean diet (except for those damn MRE's). I require about 3200 calories a day to maintain. 10% bf and I've cycled once, last fall. I loved it, gained 13, kept 10 lbs on a test e/dbol cycle.

My question is directed to all the guys on this board, but ESP to the ex and current military guys. I've accepted that early morning pt is part of my life, if fact i lift immediately after. That's where it gets complicated.

Question #1
I enjoy running and my unit likes to run anywhere between 3-6 miles. Ive heard that gym sessions longer than one hr are catabolic. So do I eat after pt, then go later? Or do I just keep my sessions extremly short and intense? I usually drink a carbohydrate endure drink when I get up, no-xplode after pt, and finally breakfast immediately after.

Question #2 (more AAS related, sorry maybe i should have broken this up)

My next cycle is as follows.

Wk 1-10 sustanon 650 mg
Wk 1-10 EQ 400 mg
Wk 1-10 proviron 25mg ED
Wk 1-4 T-Bol 50mg ED
Wk 12-15 PCT Nolva and Clomid
Letrozole and a-dex on hand

I found myself sensitive to gyno last time, hence the reason that I have plenty of anti-e's ( most likely run the a-dex at .25 ED) and mostly mildly androgenic compounds. I will have to do cardio, no matter what. I only want to gain about 10 more lbs, do I need go look into stronger mass builders ( tren, deca, anadrol)? Also, I know that no compound helps with cardio, but I was looking into stuff that also wouldn't kill my endurence. I took a pt test while I was on my last cycle and wanted to die because of the d-Bol pumps, but once that was over and the test was kicking, I think I managed to gain weight and get faster. I know that this is kinda a long post. Thanks for the help guys.

depends on your goals. that much cardio and then lifting is counter-productive IMO if you are trying to get big, or even strong. actually too much cardio is not good for either of those things.

you have to choose your battles. 10lbs of muscle is a shitload. You either wanna get big, or be a rabbit. Its hard to be both. All that cardio is gonna make it real hard to gain LBM.

No matter what drug you take. They don't determine how much you gain or not. Food and hardcore training does.

personally i eat before cardio. whether it is basketball.... or if i'm just feeling retarded and decide to jog. i also prefer to get my cardio in the evening.

call me a quack, but i'm not a typical bodybuilder. i personally don't buy into the fasted state cardio concept very much. and no, there is no number of "studies" that anyone here could show me to make me change my mind. probably. just from personal experience, i get better results in the evening having eaten than i do in the morning with no food.

and i've read some studies and seem some reports at conventions talking about cardio in the evening vs morning again. like anything else. find a study that says one thing and somewhere out there is another that has opposite findings by an entity with equally cool looking credentials.

Re:

Thanks RJ and Ezred,

I kinda figured it was going to be a challenge. I guess the bigger question is, will this cycle be a waste? I have to do pt, cardio, like it or not. Thats why it has always been hard for me to gain, but those gains have been quaility. I went from a skinny 150lbs to 180lbs naturally and slowly since I enlisted in 2006. I know my run time is going to take a hit, but thats okay if I'm gaining weight.

Id try to get some protein into that carb drink your using. Whey iso or our MAP (fruit flavored protein powder ), the fast absorption is usefull. You could even add bcaa. Bcaa's will give the body a good alternate energy source and spare your muscle. So your strategy could look like this.
Wake up take Bcaa's, carb drink
After PT take your protein drink or eat breakfast and train
This will give you the rest of the day to rest and eat meals.

Thanks Grip,

It seems to me that eating solid food between pt and working out is going to be critical, although I may be forced to incorporate whey when time doesn't allow. What about a weight gainer shake between pt and weights, then breakfast after? (Sorry, I know this probably should be posted in diet forum)

I guess I should phrase my question a little differently, you guys are completely right, I have to choose my battles. I expect my run time to drop, simply due to the laws of physics, more weight is going to be harder to carry. So I guess the real question is if I still have to do that much cardio, should I use compounds that are more anabolic to achieve my goals? Maybe drop the EQ and T-Bol for maybe D-bol and Deca?

I like to think I have realistic expectations, 10lbs is the most I expect to gain on this cycle. I just thought that since I'm doing this much cardio,( and solid, lean, more permanent gains are more important to me than what the scale says) that maybe the EQ and T-Bol were a better.

Gainers are usually a bad idea unless its hard to gain weight for you, but if it works for you roll with it. EQ ive heard good things and that its better than Deca in some aspects, gettin leaner for one. If your talking about Turinabol, thats great for recomping.

If your doin that much cardio and lifting, I think your gains will be lean at least.
