Many know about it already.
A few are regular users already.
Most underrate their importance.
I'm talking about DIGESTIVE ENZYMES.
They worked wonders for me.
Not only they shuttle nutrients to their destination better & faster (= more value for your supplement $ ), but they prevent many issues already ( hearthburn; hyperacidity; flatulence ).
I must say i'm not a believer in mild, basic enzyme formulas such as say just pineapple or papaya.
As a result of a serious health case, i got hospitalized & they administered me liters & liters of IV cortison & whatever shit was there.
That fucked my stomach up for real: i got plagued by chronic hyperacidity.
The doctors were helpless: maalox; riopan; mepral & other high tech drugs wouldn't help but side effects were there.
At some point i could no longer eat with peace of mind: no small meals, no big ones; no fluids; no solids.
UNTIL
i opted MYSELF for a massive enzyme intervention.
Well....
Over a couple months i could still eat whatever i wanted in the amount i wanted.
Now i rarely take heartburn drugs.

Plus, i noticed no flatulence with proteins or other supplements arises anymore.
I can swallow a handful of supp pills & never be bothered by indigestion or stomach discomfort.

This is not some "new" miracle cure....
Not some "new" herb....
for ages i've used SUPER ENZYMALL from Schiff ( the standard version would do nothing ) and now i'm even more pleased with DIGESTABS from puritan.com ( that contains help for the duodenus as well ).

People plagued with stomach upset or poor food/supplement absorption should try it.
People who would like to boost their absorption should as well.

One last advice: Earl Mindell (Vitamin Bible ) advises stomach hyperacidity may be due to either too much acid or...too LITTLE ( that was my case ).
Always chose an anzyme supp high in bile, betaine etc.
 
the best thing that I have found to work for me in digestion of proteins and not getting all bloaty or discomfort is Ginger Root. very cheap. 500mg before each meal! makes a world of difference!
 
ANY brand of ginger root will be fine. I use 500mg caps by Herbal Select. buy it at any drug store.
