throw in 2 weeks of cutting mid test cycle advice

Running Test E. On week 4 now, Just curious about just HOW anabolic / anti-catabolic I am. If say after 8 weeks I stop gaining, Can I throw in 1 , MAYBE 2 or a bit less weeks of cutting? 500 cal deficit and 500 cal burned 6days a week separate from lifting while fasted. (in morning) So a total of -1000 cal. after id say 10-14 days that would be almost 3 lbs of fat(depending on length of cut).

~~ If I am not making any more muscular gains, Would this be detrimental to my overall goal of bulking ? 3lbs of fat Will be a pretty decent difference depending how much muscle I would lose. I have enough test to pin for about 13 weeks. So I would still have 3 or more weeks of "bulking"

~~ my main point is I do not know exactly how test effects muscle catabolism. Especially muscle I just put on recently.

I have ran superdrol before, and plan on running it at a LOW dose, at the end of my test cycle for about 4 weeks. say 10/10/20/20. I know just what this puppy does to my body personally.

The benefit of cutting on test is it will preserve your muscle mass but stick to one thing either bulk or cut. You risk losing your new gains if you decide to change from a bulk to a cut. You could throw is some clen if you want that might help get rid of some of the nedw fat you gained or you could add in a little bit of cardio. 20 minutes a day of light intensity cardio after you lift would help.

I am doing cardio a few x a week as is. about 3 30 min sessions. nothing too bad. my heart rate easily gets to 140. should i drop the amount of cardio? i dont do it while fasted.

It all depends on you really. If you aren't making the gains you want maybe you're doing too much cardio or not eating enough. Maybe try walking 10 minutes at an incline on the treadmill. It's really all up to you and your personal preference and what you want to get out of your cycle.

i'm also 4 weeks into my test e cycle, running var at 50mg per day, have another week's supply of var, the prob is i'm tending to lose fat in chest, arms and lower abs, any ideas on what cardio would really help lose excess weight around the quads, hams and butt, everything else seems to be losing the weight except those areas, have been doing 15min of HIIT on the bike before each session, 1 min hard, 1 min easy etc. was thinking of maybe increasing it to three spinning classes a week? or running first thing in the morning?

Dont want to hijack the thread, but how big of a deficit can one truly do while on Test-E while preserving muscle? Also Micki if you are okay with running I'd go with that. I do early morning running for 10-15 minutes and its helped nice on my bulk. Though honestly I hate running, so sometimes I skip that and just go early morning swim. As to the main topic I'd be worried about the muscle gained during the cycle, its brand new muscle your gaining and wondering even though on test-e if you switched from surplus to deficit if it would kill the muscle gain.

The deficit wouldn't be much larger than natty. Yes testosterone will help preserve muscle mass by I reading hormone levels and aiding in recovery but when you cut and create a large deficit the deficit must come from somewhere. If your body needs 3500cals to maintain and you take in let's say 1500calories (extreme example but just to show my point) that 2000 cal difference HAS to come from somewhere. It will be a good amoun of fat for sure but fat is necessary to survival while copious amounts of muscle mass is not. After a certain point he body will turn to oxidizing protein from muscles as a fuel source which leads to catabolism. A natty guy can get by with a 10-20% deficit (20% being towards the top end). I'd guess with testosterone you could do a few percentage points more maybe 25%. You still run the risk of losing muscle at that point but the chance is reduced due to the extra hormones. I don't have evidence to back this up but will probably try and research it soon to get more solid answers. This is a guess of mine from literature I've read about natty cuts and how gear works.

ok thanks ricco i'll be sure to do the runs in the mornings then, but i'll keep it short but high intensity and throw in some intervals

I would just worry about cutting on the next cycle....I've been wondering the same thing on my current cycle and I'm just going to take advantage of putting on the size and worry about getting ripped up on my next cycle....which will probably be test/npp/var
