Ive heard test levels are highest in the morning, so bottomline, is it better to train at night or morning?

honestly i get my best workouts in the evening, but if i had a physically demanding job i would workout in the morning

Splits are great.

I prefer evening. I don't think your test level has very much to do with the sucess of your workouts but it definitly afects what happens to your body after that specifically with repair and the speed at which that happens. My recovery is so fast right now it's scary. I could lift the same muscle hard about EOD. I used to be sore for 3 and somtimes longer.

Whichever fits best into your schedule so you can consistently hit the weights is the best time to do it.

I take a break in the middle of the day and then return back to work another couple of hours. I am lucky I am not tied to a schedule, I work until I complete what needs to be done. I agree that a consistent regular workout schedule is a good thing.
