How do you guys adjust your training and routines(reps, sets, exercises)while dieting. I mostly train with lower reps(work sets at 6 with warmups from 6 to no higher than 10)so i decided to change up since this is the first real time i have dieted and now im doing higher reps ranging from 15-20reps for some w/ups to nothing lower than 10 reps for my wk/set. I used to add weight to every exercise almost every week and now since carbs are cut back i see a slight decline in strength. What do you guys do when dieting? Do you even change anything?

the best thing for cutting is diet you cant really formulate a routine to cut you up stick with low reps if you were doing well with that and focus 100% on your diet .... remember diet is 80% of the game get proper rest and train hard and youll see results

pm needsize. he prolly got as much experience on this topic as anyone.

I personally find it harder to handle the higher rep sets when I am dieting so I stick to lower reps.

I recommend that you stick with your original schedule - However every couple weeks into the diet reduce the Volume by 1 working set on each muscle group.

IE: Start - 12 working sets (chest), 4 weeks (11 working sets), 8 weeks (10 working sets), 12 weeks (9 working sets)

ECT. Never sacrifice strength

u don't need high volume just cuz u're on a diet. Stick to your routine and do the best u can. If u're gonna get cut or not is mostly in your diet, not the routine.
