If you're eating out, just eat a keto-type diet. Cutting out all those carbs should help a bit. At least that's the advice I was given some time ago for a similar situation. Otherwise, shop at the local grocer and put them in your hotel fridge.
Eat the peanuts in the hotel room but get someone to lick the salt off them first to keep your sodium levels down. This goes for chocolate covered almonds too.
