TRT and HGH.. Who has tried this?

I have seen many threads on this site about TRT and hCG. I am converting to a new protocol of taking hCG with my TRT. What are your thoughts on TRT and HGH. I have taken a low dose of HGH in the past and I believe it does have its benefits. (I agree it should be taken for 6 months minimum).

I used to deal with one of the mail in pharmacy companies. Many of the anti-aging clinics out there Push HGH along with testosterone replacement therapy. (I now go through my family Doc) What are your thoughts on this? I'm just curious if anyone has tried HGH along with their TRT?

Ohh how I dream of getting HGH prescribed. I'd be more than happy to tell you of the wondrous tales that the lovely hormone has taken me on. But sadly, I don't see that in the cards for me for awhile to come. :(

So, are you guys in agreement that it is a good complement to TRT? The one downfall is obvious. It is crazy expensive and insurance will not cover it. Other than the cost, what do you think the negatives are?

The ONLY negative that I can think of would be that if you have cancerous cells, it does have the propensity to make them grow as well. There are a TON of benefits though, and I definitely would hop on in a heartbeat if I could afford it.

Thanks for the input Halfwit. Has anyone else have experience running HGH with their TRT? I am wondering how this could affect the pituitary/hypothalamus etc. over time. I originally ran HGH only for a year + and felt great. At about the 1.5 year mark I had signs of overtraining etc. I had my T levels checked and to no surprise it was in the crapper. (180). I have been on TRT ever since and am still learning and trying to get dialed in. Besides the HGH, I am also tried Sermorelin. Thoughts or opinions??

Is this stuff calming?
How does one know if they need HGH?
what blood test would indicate a deficiency in this?

There is a blood test for HGH. For the insurance to cover it you have to be deficient in it and the test is usually a day long with numerous different blood draws.

HGH is similar to testosterone as it decreases as we age. One benefit of sustained human growth hormone is a general feeling of well-being along with improved skin less wrinkles etc., increased/faster recovery. This is because HGH can help rejuvenate cells which have become dormant I E wrinkles. There is also an obvious anabolic advantage of taking HGH. The anabolic affects usually take place at higher dosages which bodybuilders will take and as a result, they will run into problems by taking too much HGH. It has been my experience, that less is sometimes better. This is also how I view TRT. Getting dialed in with the right amount is key. A dose of approximately 16 IU's a week is what is recommended for numerous benefits.

I am still looking for someone to Chime in who has been on TRT and also took HGH.

I think you'd be looking at IGF-1

My IGF-1 has been above range for my age on TRT. Not sure what it was before that, but I doubt it was elevated.
I think testosterone administration already raises IGF-1.
My TRT clinic offers HGH, but only to men with growth hormone deficiency syndrome, not sure if that can be faked or not.

I'd hate to even ask what they would charge for it... their program for GH releasing peptides is already really expensive.

You can get it prescribed if your 35 or older (but some states may have restrictions)..

I still got a bunch of it sitting in my fridge. I got some just cause the doc at the clinic told me it is synergestic and works well with trt.. I'm personally not sold on the hgh hype yet though so I don't take it anymore (I've thought about adding it to my next cycle after I do more research)
