TRT and how it affects ejaculate volume!

This is a difficult question for me to ask but I just want to know what is considered normal when on TRT. Before starting TRT when I had the occasion to ejaculate the volume was always what I considered normal (between a tea spoon and a table spoons worth). Since starting TRT which includes HCG 300 iu 2 times a week I have seen my ejaculate volume decrease dramatically, even if I go a week between ejaculations the volume produced is barley enough to fill a thimble.

Is this the norm, if not what can be done to improve the situation?

I noticed this too. My ejaculate volume went back to normal once I was on 500iu E2D. Be careful though, this dosage will cause a lot of e2 conversion in many people. You need to add an AI and lower your T dosage if you use this dosage.

Studies show that 500iu E2D even while on exogenous testosterone maintained fertility.
Concomitant intramuscular human chorionic gonadotropi... [J Urol. 2013] - PubMed - NCBI
"No differences in semen parameters were observed during greater than 1 year of followup. No impact on semen parameters was observed as a function of testosterone formulation. No patient became azoospermic during concomitant testosterone replacement and human chorionic gonadotropin therapy. Nine of 26 men contributed to pregnancy with the partner during followup."

Gotta ask... did you actually measure your ejaculate volume before and after? How many samples?

I like many men self release and so yeah when only a few drops comes out it is quite noticeable when before TRT a large rag was needed to ensure that all was cleaned up.

Sorry if this sounds vulgar to some but only way I know how to explain it.

P.S> Is it wrong of me to want to cum like a porn star?

Ok NotSoSpunkey71, what I want to know is why are you ejaculating into a thimble and why is it important that you fill it up?
What kind of preversion is this? On second thought, I don't want to know :)

Seriously, you should be getting 90% of the benefit available from hcg at your dose. Is there any chance that your E2 is low? I can't prove it, but I think that low E2 can cause low ejaculate volume as well as difficulty ejaculating.

I have found during my year on TRT that when my E2 is around 50 is when I feel my best. I am able to manage my E2 pretty well and keep it around 50 with very little effort. Some may say 50 is too high but I have found that I have less joint pain and less ED issues when at 50.

Lol he's well known for his errr "large loads" & he started in gay porn so your guess is probably right.

Being serious, dramatic flunctuations in T levels can impact ejaculation volume but this depends on how long you've been on trt.

Any sort of inflammation of the prostate will play a part in lower volume (this is something to take seriously) & low zinc levels are also correlated to lower volume:

It may be possible that your zinc levels have been depleted quicker than usual due to the increase in test/hcg influence? But this is all guess work from me.

Thanks, I have been thinking of getting on a iron and zinc supp since my iron is very low.

Link doesn't work for me. How does zinc get depleted from Test/HCG?

Let's try this link:
Effects of dietary zinc depletion on se - PubMed Mobile

There appears to be a positive correlation between zinc deficiency & low serum T concentrations.

I dont think its a case of zinc being depleted from a sudden influx of test per se, more a case of low zinc being ignored in the presence of low T until it becomes necessary to supplement with zinc once T levels have been restored.

In terms of the relationship between zinc/test/hcg, it has something to do with the molecular weight of zinc as well as how efficiently it binds to protein within the body.
It's an immensely complicated system that even science doesn't fully understand yet but here is a study that does explain it vaguely:

BMC Urology | Full text | Oral zinc supplementation restore high molecular weight seminal zinc binding protein to normal value in Iraqi infertile men

There is clearly a relationship between the flunctuating serum T levels & zinc, but I wont pretend to be able to explain it in a satisfactory manner :)

Edit: I also recall a study showing that zinc influences the uptake of hcg, but I'm unable to find it at the moment.

Boy is this true. I'm seeing improvements presently while increasing zinc intake after that restart.
It must be raising T....all the signs are there.
