Ok im 6'3 235-240 im trying to lose about 15 pounds and it almost seems impossible to do. I am working out 4 days a week and running for about 15-20 min a day, and nothing is happening... Matter of fact I got on the scales yesterday and it said I gained 2 pounds. So basically im asking for advice and help!!!

Yeah I agree It has to be the diet if your not shifting weight. Simpley put to lose weight you have to burn more calories than you consume on a daily basis. The extra lbs could be down to muscle weight from all the running you've done latley.

I seriously doubt he would put on muscleweight from running. It´s more than likely diet related.
You mean to tell me if someone is taking in calories and doing exercise on there legs (such as running) there not going to put on any muscle mass what so ever???

I have to dissagree Im 6 months post ACL surgery during that time my leg (quad) shrunk to 19'' in mass. With the use of jogging, running and sprints its now up to 24'' and with that mass came a gain in weight.

But overall I do believe the reason he has not shifted any weight is down to his diet.

what I meant was that adding 15-20 min runnig a day while trying to cut like he is. it´s not reasonable to belive that running has anything to do with the weight gain.

try looking at those kenyans they dont exactly have monsterthighs or proffesional cyclister either for that matter.

my point is that the weightgain comes from something he ate not the running in itself.

I agree 100% on the diet side of things here he must be doing somthing wrong in order to not have dropped any weight what so ever but on the flip side In order to build muscle you have to eat food so if he's consuming the right amount of protein for his body weight and working out then im sure he's gonna add size, weight, muscle even if if thats not the goal.

Those Kenyans dont have huge muscles due to the way they train for this specific sport.
Footballers run as do sprinters and they seem to always sport a decent pair of wheels, But all of this aside in order to drop weight, drop your calories not too drastically or you could do more damage than good let us see your diet and stats.

Try a caffine supplement in the morning before your jog (on an empty stomach)
then have your breakfast 20-30mins later. see if that has any positive effect.
