upright rows

mass rookie

how heavy should upright rows be done to build bigger delts, what should my heaviest weight be for barbell uprights? 170lb 5'8'' because I love how the delts, and anteriors look when seperated.

I dont treat upright rows as any kind of mainstay, for delts or traps. Finisher at best, I dont do any right now at all.

I do presses, front raises, laterals and rear laterals, all with free weights NO upright rows and delts are probably one of my better parts.

I consider uprights more for the traps
they are my last trap exercise.
I stay in the 10-12 rep range because this could be a potentially dangerous exercise if proper form is not used and too heavy of weight is used.

ya i agree with Mudge it is better to stick to presses and laterals for mass in the shoulders. Maybe uprightrows for a finisher

For delts, I say push press for medial and anterior delt, and pullups and chinups for posterior delt.

For traps, cleans are awesome.
