US Rx buy overseas?

Is it legal to buy Test from overseas pharmacy if you have a Rx from a US Dr. Just WAY cheaper I see.

Pretty sure it is illegal, but I am not 100% certain.

I asked a pharmacist that I work with about this. He says that as long as you have a valid prescript and are not filling it multiple times at multiple pharmacies (which is illegal), then the source doesn't matter even if it is overseas. He did say you have to be careful about what grade of medication your getting from overseas. Some other countries don't have the same production standards and the quality can vary wildly.

So...if I have a paper copy of a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) Rx, never filled domestically, I fill it from an overseas pharm that doesnt require I send the original and I am only in posession of the Rx amount I'm GTG?
