Using both thermo's and creatine?

Hi, I am considering buying the Nutrex lipo 6 fat reducing liquid caps along with the AST creatine and AST glutamine, and optimum whey protein. Is taking all four a good combination? Since the latter 3 I mentioned help me gain weight, will taking Nutrex lipo 6 help cut the body fat or will it also decrease my muscle mass and negate the creatine, glutamine, and whey protein I intake? And should I cycle it? I am a 5’11” 180 lb male. I don’t know my body fat %, but I used to eat way too many fruits per day, probably a good 10-12 fruits per day, thinking it was healthy, not knowing that it drastically increases body fat, so I do have some fat I would like to get rid of while increasing my body size. Even though weighing 180 lbs while being 5’11” is about average, I would probably consider myself as someone who has “skinny fat”

Thanks for your help.

dont bother with glutamine. worthless.

generally you should get to a bodyfat your happy with before trying to add muscle. that requires a shortage of calories.

If youre just getting into the whole working out thing, id hold off on the creatine until decide to start to gain weight, which requires excess calories. If youre new to it, then you dont really have much strength/muscle to hold onto while your losing weight.

Lipo6 is supposed to be a good fat burner, AST creatine should be fine, and optimum whey is a good concentrate. and no you dont need to cycle anything.

Thanks for the info. Sorry for this long post. This was my plan, I dont know if it will work. I used to be 225 lbs, now im 180, which I think is average considering I am 5'11". I just wanted to lose some more excess fat around my stomach. I used to work out for the most part of the past year, until a shoulder injury has kept me off for 3 months, but im going back to the gym in 2 weeks.
My plan was to work out 4 days a week and run the other 2 days.
But, like you said, if I take creatine and whey and eat 200 grams of protein per day, and have an excess number of calories in my diet (mostly consisting of protein), and I intake a very large amount of calories, about 3000 calories per day.
So if I also take lipo and run during my off gym days, will I still increase my lean body mass while losing body fat? even with 3000 calories I intake, will it be useless cause lipo and creatine are opposites?

well it doesnt work like that. Its not like eating a lot and working out one day builds muscle, and then running and taking fat burners the next day burns fat. Unless youre on drugs or genetically gifted that really doesnt happen. You didnt mention drugs, and if you were genetically gifted you wouldnt be here asking questions.

Its a collective thing that accumulates over weeks and months. Thats why its easiest to do one thing at a time...either lose fat while trying to maintain muscle, or gain muscle while gaining as little fat as possible.

I say get your diet figured out to where youre losing about 1-2 pounds a week, that should mostly be fat that is lost with minimal muscle. Use the whey and lipo6 during this time.

Then when you get to a bodyfat that youre happy with, increase youre calories until youre gaining about a pound or two a week, that should mostly be muscle gained with little fat. Use the whey and creatine during this time.

Thats a very rough outline of how i'd do it in your situation.

thanks, one more thing, how can I measure my body fat? Can I measure it myself?
And if I decide not to use lipo, but instead focus on one goal, (to gain muscle) by using whey and creatine, I will get bigger by working out in the gym, so should I even be running on my off days at all?

actually, technically, you dont get bigger in the gym. You tear down muscle in the gym, and you rebuild it bigger and stronger by eating. that kind of puts a lot of emphasis on food/diet.

running on your off days is perfectly fine. Helps keep bodyfat down (you wont LOSE any if youre gaining weight overall though), keeps appetitie up, aids with recovery, is good for cardiovascular health, etc. I actually walk for 30-45 minutes myself, but jogging, or even sprints is fine.

I just bought a Omron HBF-306 fat loss monitor for $55, which is one of those ones that you grip with both hands and it sends a charge and it tells you your body fat% and BMI.
I am 21 years old, weigh 175, am 5'11", male, and it tells me that my body fat is 12.9%, and my BMI is 24.4.
I checked this device with some other people that had more fat and were heavier than me, and their fat% was shown as 30%. Another friend of mine had a body fat % of 21.3%.
So in your opinion Suareezay, should I first lose a few more punds in my midsection and upper chest by running and using lipo 6 before starting creatine and eating like crazy? I dont know, it just feels like I have so much excess fat around my waist. When I squeeze right above my hip bone to see how much fat I have, its about 2 inches if I squeeze really hard

i think you answered your own question.

12.9% bf isnt too bad, but its only going to go up when you bulk up, and if youre already unhappy with it, you will only be less happy with it as time goes on.

cool, I calculated the calroies I would need to get bigger, and it was 3800. How long should I eat 3800 calories while using creatine? Becuase I now understand that getting bigger and cut is a 2 steps forward, 1 step back process. After how long should I stop using creatine, but instead increase my cardio and limit my calories in order to get cut?

thanks, youve been a great help :)

keep in mind 3800 isnt an exact number, its more of a ballpark figure, your training/metabolism/a lot of other factors can change that by quite a bit. Use it as a starting point though.

you dont really ever have to stop using creatine. you can use it as long as you want to. Obviously its going to help you put on size because it will increase strength in the gym. It will also help you keep some size/strength when you decide to start losing weight.

those body fat machines suck.....on day mine will be 12% 2 days later it will be 14.6%
i went to the hospital and they said it was 13.something% it will get you within 2 or 3 %
