wait till soreness is gone?

Swolehead1

Im here for the gangbang
I work each muscle once a week. Sometimes when it comes to do the muscle again it is still sore. Should I wait a day or 2 to let it heal? or work it anyways?

if your just starting to workout or havent been working out for a while dut to what ever reason its not unusual to stay sore that long but MOST people who have been working out for a while arent very sore if any after a week .

Common wisdom would say to wait until it's not sore anymore, but I'd say, if you feel you can go then go. Listening to your body is the most important thing, IMO.

I would wait just because it would affect my workout negatively, if need by I will just train light. If I am sore even 1-2 days out from my next workout that is a little odd, and usually only comes from some kind of routine changeup or more volume.

Most times I will wait if I'm sore but some times a light workout will actually help get rid of the lactic acid built up in the muscle. You might want to get a light workout in and make sure to stretch afterwards.

If the feeling hits me, and i wanna workout, soreness ain't gonna stop me, regardless of if it's healthy or not.

Research i've seen suggests working it even if slightly sore. Bigger question is what are you doing wrong that you're so a week later..????! Once a week's part of the problem i think, probably insufficient.
