Week Four Of TRT Injections

I am entering week four of my testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) therapy and thought it might be helpful for some people that are in the information gathering stage, or just beginning, to hear from someone that was where they are just a few short weeks ago.

The first two weeks were definitely a roller coaster ride and as I posted previously my worst day was at the end of my 7 day cycle (200mg test cyp, 500 iu Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) 2x, anastrozole .5mg 3x) which was a real downer for me since it fell on a Monday when my week was just starting. After reading and gathering input from others on this site I decided to try more frequent injections and went with 100mg Sunday morning and feel great for the start of the new week.

I will inject again on Wednesday night with my Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) in between - hoping for a more level experience. I will not be making any futher adjustments until I have additional lab work done at the month and a half mark. I was starting to question whether or not I made the right decision for treatment until this past week.

I saw noticeable energy and libido gains. I have tracked my lifting for a couple weeks and really saw a jump in reps and amounts this weekend for both legs and arms - the recovery time is dropping as well - I don't feel like I was run over by a truck today after lifting heavy this weekend and will have no problem getting back in the gym tomorrow for another round.

Great site and great input from everyone here - just my .02 worth - hope it helps someone else out!

It only gets better.

Guys get excited I understand, but the first time I did test I did 500mg a week, and i still didn't know it was working after 7 weeks, now when I look back I know it was working, I just didn't know what I was looking for when I did it the first time.

Most guys will feel better in just 2 weeks, sometimes it can take 3 months before symptoms start going away. it really just depends.

What about fat loss? I know diet, diet, diet, but when can one expect to see fat loss with TRT?

Yes studies have shown that it will reduce fat, especially visceral fat, I will say some studies showed that a TT at 6-800 did not burn fat nearly as much as supra levels did, and some patients did not burn any at those levels.

This is why I believe that men with really low T can benefit from a higher dose initially, then titrate back down to median levels within a couple months.

Would this be a case for pinning e5d versus twice a week or would fat loss most likely be the same with both potocols?

Well when you spread it out a lil more levels will reach supra physiological range more often, also dropping lower than on a tighter schedule.

The more you shoot at once, the higher you levels will go within 2 days, regardless of the dose you will be at peak, or within 10% within that 48 hours. Then you let them fall to your trough.

With a cream you would never go that high, plus the more you rub on, the less you get mg per mg to the blood.

This is the reason why so many men, IMO, like injections better, because they are stronger.
