Wellbutrin is an anti-depressant, is also used ot help quit smoking. As far as weight loss suppose it can have that effect on some people. I took wellbutrin for over 1 yr(a fairly lg. doseage 2) 300mg a day and didn't have any problems w/weightloss. As far as xenadrine, wouldn't think so. Have taken wellbutrin + thermorexin and have had no problems. I think the reason behind it, is thermorexin, xenadrine and stuff like that can make your body produce more dopamine(make u happier) and when u quit taking the supplements u'll be more depressed, therefore, people who struggle w/depression shouldn't take those, cuz it could make their depression worse after they quit taking the supp. NOT cuz wellbutrin is a weightloss agent and so is xenadrine. BUT from MY personal expeirence, i have had NO problems w/it. Maybe a bit down when i quit the thermorexin, but nothing major or more serious then the norm. Tell him not to worry about it. SHould be cool. Just tell him about the dopamine thing and POSSIBILITY of getting more depressed.
