What protein brands do you use? And does it really matter?

I use IsoFlex because it's a true 90% whey. All the others that claim their product is 100% whey is actually in the lower 70% range. Meaning they add milk and soy proteins to make up for it. IsoFlex is also triple filtered in a refrigerated environment which is another reason why of it's price. So easy to mix with not a lot of water and no chunks.

I think ON has had the best taste of the protein powders i've tried. Second place in bodyfortress. I've tried GNC brand soy protein, eww but dirt cheap. But the best price is Truenutrition.com though in my opinion it taste horrible. But protein shake is what? Drank in 10 seconds? I've tried telling all my buds to start getting their protein from there but they dont listen,

I use MVP Pro Whey from befit $172 for 20lbs + free Tshirt + free Shipping.
For Caesin I use MusclePharm Caesin Core

DreDay sort of mentioned it but when researching all these companies i'd really look into if there are any studies done on the bioavailability of the brand in question...

for example (i cant find the study, read it about a year ago) but muscle milk and bodyfortress bioavailability is complete crap and your body really doesn't digest the full amount of protein in the nutritional facts

I personally tend to stick with the more reliable companies such as ON Pro Complex, Dymatize, BSN etc

I go for whatever is on sale. Costco started carrying musclepharms protein and it was extremely cheap with a coupon so I stocked up on that and it got ok reviews

Optimum has good tasting, high quality, competitive priced protein powder. They are a good reliable company. I prefer whole food sources of protein but when you cant hit your protein intakes they sure come in handy. My favorite brands are optimum nutrition and Synthrax.
