What where your (worst) symptoms before starting TRT?

Low to no libido, ED and some brain fog. Been on HRT now for 3 years and still have low to no libido and ED, but at least I don't have brain fog and I can hit it fairly decent in the gym again. Be nice to have my old libido back, but I have tried probably every protocol out there and it doesn't seem to be in the cards. But I am 50 so maybe I am too old to get that back. It kinda sucks, though. I see a hot gal and I turn my head, but its more a force of habit rather than any true physical reaction.

R u using HCG?

What did your labs look like?

Total 310ng and Free was 49ng.
But I also had osteopen/porosis from the "bad" steroid (predinsone) which I took for another medical condition. That shit eats your bones by blocking the absorption of calcium necessary to promote bone growth.
Since being on 150mg pwk, my bone density has dramatically, as has my overall quality of life.

Do you mean PREDNISOLONE? (Commonly used as a steroid to help with bronchial disease)

No, Prednisone for Crohns, an autoimmune disease. It is a powerful anti-inflammatory used to quiet inflamed intestinal tissue. It works, but you pay for it, especially over the long haul. I am much more afraid of what Prednisone can do to me than I have ever been of my cypionate, which has been a miracle worker..

Giving up on libido at 50? Naw man, you can restore that in my opinion. I'd second or third the HCG idea as well as DHEA. I don't know why it is but when My Doc added compounded DHEA to my regimen, I noticed 2 distinct changes. One is a stark improvement in my lipid profile. Two, I noticed more amorous sexual type feelings. I already had the lustful desire etc, but for some reason, I began to have an increased desire to be more amorous with my wife. Can't really express in writing exactly what I mean otherwise. I can say it has helped my wife become more uninhibited in the bedroom. Love that.

BTW... I did check and noticed no spike in estrogen. Lol

Guys: Newtohrt has literally tried everything under the sun. Despite his name, he isn't a newb to this. You can go back and read his old posts if you want to see everything he has tried.

I recommend travelling to where prostitution is legal and letting the "madam" of the place know of your issue...she may have someone who is good in such cases. You never know. :)

Yeah I started on Test C, HCG, and Arimidex. About a year in, my dr added DHEA. THATS when I noticed the changes in lipids and experienced the amorous "tending the doe" feelings.

HCG will increase endogenous DHEA too.
people report it does a better job than the micronized form(s).
