Whatman 0.2um gel like substance coming out of the filter after use.

Question. When I put my purchased oils through a whatman 0.2um filter and then remove the syringe, there is some gel like stuff that comes out the back of the filter. Is that junk from my gear filtered out or part of the filter?
Just curious.

What oil did you purchase? If you could, please post a picture of the gel like substance you're speaking hope. That would help to identify what that "gel" could be.
