I've always had naturally high levels of test - between 900 - 1000 ng/dl from the time I was 18 - 36 years of age.

Although I did plenty of cycles in my early 20's, I never failed to recover to my normal natural test levels.

At 39, I saw my natural level drop to 579 ng/dl and I felt sluggish.

That is when I decided to go the Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) route.

I really don't see steroid use as a cause for hypogonadism. It may be a factor for some but if you were to cycle for years and able to recover hpta each time, then it's not causing it.

If you stay on cycle for three years straight then can't recover hpta then I would say it AAS induced.

But if the literature is correct then most males will decline with age. Others have low T to start and others are causing it thru some other means like the use of opiates.
