You guys really try and make things more complicated then they are.

Why not before training?
 
I take carbs in meal #1, #2 and post workout meal. I take EFA's in meals #3,#4,& #6. Last meal of the day is just whey protien right now when dieting. I'll add some peanut butter with that when bulking.
 
efa's are all processed the same at any point during the day along with every other nutrient, the only thing that changes is ammount that can be absorbed at one time and time of day you are training. Def. take efa's before bed if your drinking a whey protein shake to slow absorbtion rate. Def not after a workout because you need fast absorbtion of nutrients, my understanding is that your body absorbs the fat first and other nutrients follow.. so keep that in mind, correct me if im wrong.
 
I take in all my fat a few hours PWO with high protein, low carb meals. I also have an egg yolk with my pro+carb breakfast, as well a one at night with my pro-fat meal or shake. I use flax and fish oil as well as natural peanut butter and almond butter.
