When to do blood work?

Ok, so everyone knows that the only way to confirm how hard your gear is hitting is to get blood work done.

So, this means you need to get your blood work done on cycle.

But how often, how many times, and how long after injections should we do this?

In a perfect world every 4 wks - short of that IMO around middle of cycle. unless having issues.

If I am just checking Test levels (not Liver enzymes, cholesterol, etc) I will use saliva testing. It's like $35 per test + test FREE testosterone levels.
If I want to check a specific gear I will do test 2-3wks in.

Most important - If ur not on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) then do a Blood Test 2-3 wks after finishing post cycle therapy (pct) to verify ur firing on all cylinders.

It depends on the length of cycle and if you know and trust your gear, if I'm checking to ensure test is real about 2 weeks in, then on a 16 week cycle around week 6 I'll check labs but I'm more concerned with lipids and bp thru the cycle. Estro and test to give you an idea of how things are going. The longer the cycle, the more times you should check. But at least once during, on an 18 week cycle twice is good.

As often as you can afford.

Uh, you can go to privatemdlabs.com and order your tests. Then you will go get them done via labcorp.

Could somebody please outline the blood work testing procedure for me? From how I go about ordering the tests and then having them actually tested.

Thank you.

You read correctly. The "Female" panel is just half the price as the corresponding "Male" panel (discrimination much?.../) so for about $50 after an easily had discount coupon you get Test, E, liver enzymes, basically an entire hormonal panel. It's a great deal, well worth the price and they don't bat an eye at you when you show-up and are obviously male, LOL.

Great thanks for all the help. It says to fast for 12 hrs before the test. I rarely fast for 3 hrs.. is this something you guys do before blood work

Anyone got the discount cupon?

It says that but you do not need to fast for those tests.

When doing that panel all the tests you need are included, as posted above.

In another thread people mentioned adding free-test to the female panel. Also what about lipids? and cholesterol? Thyroid? Those aren't on there right?

I'm about to start my first cycle and want to be sure to do it right.

Thanks!

I read somewhere the best things to check for are:
CBC
Chem-20
Complete Thyroid screen (T-3 uptake, Total T4, Free T4, total T3, Free T3, Free T4 index, TSH, TBG)
Prolactin
Total test
Free test
lh - leutenizing hormone - , FSH - follicle stimulating hormone -

If any advanced guy wants to look those over and see if thats correct....
