When you cheat...

When you cheat do you go all out? Damn guys today I ate 6 slices of cake 2 slices of pizza a bag of doritos peanut butter filled pretzels and about 5 dougnuts today....


I pig out when I cheat!
 
It doesn't effect you that bad when you're bulking, but you can wipe out an entire week's fat loss like that while cutting, so just be careful. Always have some kind of set boundaries/goals in your mind beforehand, even for cheating. Even if you exceed those boundaries, you usually won't go as overboard as had you had none at all. Just whatever you do, don't make your cheats totally open-ended. If you tend to get really crazy, limit yourself to a cheat MEAL rather than a cheat day.
 
i cheat a couple times a week, last night i stayed up playing computer games at work until like midnight, and i was starving, the last time i ate was at 7 or something, i went to eat and i had 2 pieces of bread, 2 eggo's and a biscuit and gravy.. ahha.. and this morning while doing cardio i had TONS of energy... did the eliptical way harder then nomal with the same heart rate.

usually i try to cheat early in the day and keep it realistic, chips, crackers etc...
 
damn, you really fricken pig out when you cheat. i sometimes do that, but feel really guilty. i had cake yesterday, some cookies, brownies, milk, and some bad protein bars on my cheat day. and i'm cutting! this will set me back a while i bet.
 
hahah, im cutting also... last night i had a can of bean dip and some chips... lol- like 1000 more cals..
 
when i go out with my bros we usually go to a restaurant called terra cotta which is an oriental buffet and i clear them out of all the sushi they have hahaha

i dread to think how many calories and carb grams i get but who cares it's good :D

Last night i went through a few cups of soda which my bro said was diet but i found out wasn't ! lol
and i wasn't even cheating but i guess i'll have to work hard to burn it off :D
 
lol... to make up for my cheat last night im diong a carb free day i had 7 whites, 1 whole egg fo rmeal 1
whey drink for meal 2
chicken breast, hamburger patty 3
same 4
thats so far... after my food digests ill hit the gym, then have another whey drink 5
and for dinner ill keep get some chicken and veggies....
 
When I cheat, it's usually just a cheat meal. I don't cheat for the entire day or I'll feel like crap the next day.

Yeah when I cheat the whole day, I blow up like a balloon and swear to never, ever do that again:D
 
yeah, but its ok when ur shitloading rite? i mean wont it jack up ur metabolism if u have a cheat day once a week or once every 3 wks while dieting? i know of many pros who do that...guys like Troy Alves pig out on about 10,000 calories every sunday while dieting for a show to speed up his metabolism...thus causing him to drop more bodyfat...alrite ya'll give me some input, tell me what u think..

10000 cals/? holy shite!! yesterday i was able to go off base, we went riding the ATV's out in the desert for an hour, went to chili's before, and went to applebee's afterwords... lol... hows that for a cheat day? lol... i tried to get healthy stuff, i had the fajita's (chicken) an di ate the chicken, veggies and thats it, then for dinner i had chicken again, but i ate the mashed potatoes and veggies, and someone ordered spinache and something dip with chips and i had a bunch of that... man it was good!
 
Well honestly i think u need to pig out once in a while if on a really low carb diet...

Last year i was eating aroun 50 carbs a day 300 pro and by Sunday i was ready to drop dead from no energy...

So i would eat anything and everything i could think of. The next day i would weigh about 10 lbs more then the day before and slowly within the next few days i would go back down to my ideal weight of 193 at 6% bf and look tighter and better then before the pig out.....
 
By no means do i think i have a fast metabolism and im in the process of cutting..Im very strict with my diet i dont cheat except for a planned cheat "meal"..it could be anything..last week was the first time in awhile i didnt drop any weight so sat afternoon got myself some McD's (med fry double 1/4lber w cheese :-) plus i ate my normal diet but weighed myself a week later dropped 3lbs.. everyone is different i have a friend that doesnt work out has about 8-9% bf and eats whatever the hell he wants <bastard lol
 
I think you need to cheat to keep your sanity.

not a whole day though

maybe a meal or two a week

the other night I had 2 chicken sandwiches from McDonalds
and, while watching a vid with my lady, I had a box of malted milkballs

I paid for it in the morning.

but it felt good at the time

I have 1 cheat meal per week.I save it until sunday night,if I eat it early in the day,I can't get back on track to eat my diet food,so a cheat meal will turn into a cheat day.It's all I can think about from about friday till sunday,what I will be pigging out on.
