I know this is the wrong place but you guys know me better than the convo lounge. i had plans with my wife to go to the mayan riviera next month, but they just got creamed by a hurricane and the place will still be a mess. so what else is a good idea? we like beaches, fishing, jetski's,parasailing, oh and salmming mixed tequilla drinks :insane2: .
we want a beachfront place with some nightlife and no young kids.
any ideas?

oh just to make sure this fits in the training forum, I squatted 355 today. from a low box. :)
 
atlantic city has a beach.. watch for dirty syringes oozing with dope... or check out the beaches of north carolina... I'd tell ya to come to LBI (south Jersey Garden state parkway exit63) but its a bunch of long island assholes right now..

i went to te DR many years ago and had an awful time however i know many many people who have gone since ive been there and everyone of tehm said they would go back..there were certain events that just made it an awful vaca for us..dont ever travel with a large group (90 people) to a 3rd world country lol

Alot of people have told me they didn't like the DR. Aruba is great because nothing is off limits, the whole island is safe and you can walk around down town and go out.
 
costa rica.great place that aint fulled up with tourist yet.great scenery nice jungle hikes awesome fishing cheap.stay on the pacific side and if you surf it's off the hook right now.or fiji a little more expensive.

my folks go every year to Aruba and they love it..i haent gone yet

also ive heard the turks and caicos are great to visit
 
aruba isnt good right now imo , all the mess over that kidnapped teen from bama is causeing a lot of bad stuff there right now

My parents have friends their right now, i will see when they get back.
 
Aruba would be awesome, and the only bad press is coming from the US reporters. Go online and read the local paper. Business is still booming. It didn't drop off one bit.
I feel sorry for the girls parents, but the girl is gone.
 
Aruba might be the winner. i still want to check out cabo san lucas. i dont think the western side of mexico got hit too bad by Emily. thanks for the ideas

70% of arubas tourism is US citizens, i am not sure how it is booming, you can get super deals now. Where did you get that business didn't drop off, the local papers, lol.

marlin fishing is supposed to be unreal

from what ive its an awesome palce to fish and yet has really great nitelife
 
Marlin fishing or tarpon is one of the main things i want to do. As long as i get to do that, ill go along with anything else my wife wants.

Aruba sucks for fishing unless you are thier from Nov-Feb/March, and even then from what i understand it is not all that great. IF you want fishing, go to Cabo now, the hotter the better.
