Can aneone tell me which is the best type of fish for eating containing omega 3 fatty acids ,having low ft %n more in protein...

Salmon, Tilapia, Halibut, Mahimahi, Stripped bass, and Black cod. Farmed Oysters and Mussels are also really good, too.

Tilapia is a great low fat fish... as for your omega 3s i would recommend getting a supplement in addition to fish in your diet.

I'd say go with the one with the LEAST amount of MERCURY in it. :laugh3: Cause there's no point of getting good fatty acids and mercury at the same time, which will stay in your body and do damage for a very long time.

Is it just farmed oysters and muscles that are a good source of omaga 3's?
So they say.... it's do to the lack of parasites stripping the nutrients. Farmed raise is what you'll usually find at your local grocery store.

Best fish w/ Omega-3's......

I'd have to say salmon has the highest amount of Omega's, but make sure it's fresh so it doesn't taste too fishy! Grill it and throw some lemon on it.

customary to think that eating fish is causing to get a large quantity of omega-3.
in effect, fish contains omega-3 only if they eaten food that rich in this component,
you supposed to know from where those fish come from, the sea or fish pond?
if from fish pond so for sure the fish didnt eat food that contain omega-3.
even from the sea its impossible to know what is the source of the fish and the quantity that it contain.
for this reason, i'm not rely on fish to be a source of omega-3.
here some vegetal sources of omega-3:
flax oil.
canola oil.
flax ground seeds.
walnut.
cocked soya bean ful.
