Thats because he jumped ship in the early 90's and went over to Vince Macmahons WBF. When the WBF was went the way of the dinosaur, all the BB's in that organization came back to Weider with their tails between their legs...Their punishment was never to place in the top 10 in any shows their after. Check out the stats for....Aaron Baker, David Dearth, Jim Quinn, Mike Quinn, Gary Strydom etc...Poor guys were blackballed!

He was an IFBB pro back then.......MacMahon courted all the top bodybuilders at the time and lured them over to his now defunct WBF organization.
All these guys including Strydom and Christian,s careers where killed by good old Joe Weider...
