Why an AI instead of Proviron to control sides

Why do you use Aromatase inhibitor (AI) instead of Proviron to control estrogen sides? I've read about many people that love it, why are others using an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) instead?

I like using an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) during cycle, and I prefer to use exemestane, a little stronger thanks adex but not as bad as letro. Always used an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) during cycle, just the way i was taught and always worked well for me.
