Why so complicated………………………..?

I hope I don't get too much flack for this post and am not advising anyone to follow my lead or take advice in any way whatsoever.

OK, I have never had bloods done in over 27 years of training, I had gaps between 1996-98 and 99-2010 when I trained clean or didnt train at all.

I read all these threads about getting bloods done before during and after a course.
It used to be so simple back in the day, you took your gear and if it worked, its good, if it didn't, it wasn't and we didn't buy it again.
All the AIs to prevent gyno regardless of any gyno symptoms.
If you got itchy nipples you got some tamoxifen.

People are told never do a course without a test base.
Back in my day it was common place to just take a few orals off season without any injectables.
Most people from back in my day are fine and healthy.
I dont know anyone who had any problems from steroid usage.

Again this is just an opinion and its my experience, I know science has progressed and we now know a bit more about how the body works but I just think sometimes it reads as though everyone is getting ready for the Olympia when I read some of these threads.

I agree Banzi that we did things differently back then. I think that we know more about Estrogen, Prolactin and certain types of blood work that can indicate potential problems...which is a good thing. But I also agree that some of the recommendations that are sometimes made to novice or beginer AAS users goes to far. Not everybody is looking to compete in a contest and low dose & simple cycles are the way to go for the majority of users. that is why it is so important for EVERYBODY to do their research and not get carried away.

I agree , I just dont see the need for a first time user to be taking around 4 or 5 different agents.
Just try a shot of test a week for 12 weeks.
I know oral only cycles are frowned upon because you lose the gains after you come off, thing is you lose most of what you gain on almost all cycles.
I have had great results on 15 mgs a day of Stromba or 25mgs Dbol and nothing else.

It's anyone's choice if they want to take extra precautions to ensure a more safe, optimal cycle. It's just a little bit of insurance. Sure you save time and money taking short cuts. It's just another one of life's choices. When people comeback asking wtf happened to me, i can't get my dick hard, it helps to have blood work.

Steroids are not for everyone, if you lose wood on your first cycle then maybe you need to look at another sport.

Another thing I see is people having problems with certain compounds and then advised to take something else to counter the sides.
Would be far more sensible to come off whats causing you a problem.

Last time i checked this "sport" isn't about whether or not you can get your dick hard. It's about proportion, symmetry and muscle mass. When you are messing with the endocrine system, androgenic side effects are a real problem. I was trying to have a real discussion about the topic, i didn't realize i was talking to an idiot.

It was you who introduced peoples dicks and their relevance.
I simply responded to your post in a rational sensible manner.
Why so aggressive?

I rest my case.

I have no idea what your problem is.
If you dont agree with me then just say so, no need to be rude about it and troll the thread.

I have noticed it's getting lots of views but few comments, its aggressive posts like yours that stop people airing their views on here.

Banzi We know much more about the science involved. TO do what you did is careless and an undue health risk. I 've known many guys who never recovered for cycles.

Maybe so, maybe I have issues I dont know about, maybe I dont.
I just dont think its a requirement to be having bloods done before during and after cycles.
Its overkill.

Define 'never recovered'?

Nothing is really required. It's advised. Just like wearing a seat belt. I'm not as old as u but when I started, guys weren't on ridiculously high amounts of gear like now. Shit, some of the pros back then weren't even on as much shit as some 19 year olds posting on here. Nolvadex used to be the go to on cycle with b-6 I think. Couldn't really go on a site and look shit up. Things change. There's certain things that people preach on here that I never do and im ok. I'm not getting into it though cuz I dont feel like debating over it. It's good to cover all the basis so people can make educated decisions on their own.

I think thats a major concern on here, there seems to be an agenda to try and stop anyone with an alternative viewpoint.
Its a shame people dont feel comfortable to post what they feel like.

Thanks for your contributions.

Honestly, some things are better left not said. This is a public forum with a lot of noobs. If u go on a private board, talk is a lot more loose on everything. I understand why its not such a good idea to post stuff like u don't need hcg, or run that cycle for 6 months. Noobs take it out of context. Let them see all the safe ways u "should" go about running a cycle. Some might not be up for the responsibility of it. Some might see how reckless their cycle is. Some might not give a shit.

I remember tapering down and using creatine as a pct. Life sure has gotten better since the introduction of Nolva and clomid and hcg and adex.

I dont understand the hostility. The information is there . Like tbo said, its a public forum so its best to display the knowledge we all have now to help people new to the game to cycle wisely. Ultimately its their choice but at least they know...well at least they should if they research beforehand
