wider forearm

what i usually do is do forearms before my back and bis'. I take the weight, do 3 reps with 1 min break, then do one more exersise with the same amount. Then after back and bis i have a huge pump on my forearms. THis made my forearms grow almost 4 inchs in a year, natural.

I have been using starps a lot less. Now the only time I use them is when doing heavy deads and heavy shrugs. I dont want either of those to suffer. I can do much much more with both using straps. I use to use them alot for back also but now I pretty much dont, unless Im going very heavy or am exhuasted.
 
i dont use straps and go close to 800 on rack pulls. eventually your grip will catch up but not if you keep using straps. as your grip increases so will the size of those forearms.
 
800 and no straps if very impressive! I know everyone responds differantly but you in particular, how long have you been training?
