I've been taking Cyp for about 9 months through my doctor. Over the 1st 6 months I increased my dosage twice and settled at 300/wk. injected once per week. After 90 days at 300/wk my total test had come up to 455. The doc said stay right there. 90 days later I went back for lab work and my total test had shot up to 844. Now I was told to cut my dosage in half.
A couple weeks before my lab work showed 844 I went on a 5 day Prednisone cycle for severe sciatica pain. The pain came back after day 3 of the prednisone, so after being off it for a week my doctor gave me a higher dosage for 7 days. In the middle of this 2nd cycle of prednisone is when my lab work was done. Is there any correlation between the prednisone and a higher test level?
