How does a doctor prescribe you test cyp/HCG under insurance?

BCBS of IL definitely covers it. My doc just wrote "hypogonadism" on my diagnosis/treatment sheet, and prescribed T cyp @ 200mg E14D. I get mine from CVS by mail order. 10ml every 56 days. Enanthate now, because Cyp went out of stock. Costs me $20. No idea if they will cover Human Chorionic...

    Test E release Time

Artyi, 250mg a week sounds a bit high to me. I would probably start with something like 80mg 2x a week. Just from my experience, I was peaking over 1300 TT on 150mg a week. If you can withdraw the test from the ampule with a syringe, you can use that to measure it out into the other syringes and...

Androgel stopped working after 2 wks, ED set in, switched to injections and ED is...

IMHO, I think going to weekly shots will help. I also think your E2 is probably high. It takes a few days for the new T in your system to convert to E2. I had a very similar experience. I am still trying to get dialed in, so I am not an expert, but it might behoove you to get a PrivateMD labs...

    Test E release Time

Artyi, can you get more sterile needles? If so, you can break up that 1ml dose into 2 or 3 needles, and just keep them clean and capped until you need them. Your E2 is only 40 in US units, which isn't terribly high, but maybe a little. I would bet that just cutting your T dose down to .6 or .7...

    It’s worse then I thought

No HCG. Right now I am taking .25mg Adex EOD until I feel like I am in the sweet spot, then I will probably try to back it down to .25mg 2x week with my injections. 4 doses in and it is working already. Definitely noticing improved mood, MW, libido.

    It’s worse then I thought

I inject 60mg of Test Enan (or Cyp) on Monday and Thursday (total of 120mg a week). I was at 150mg a week, but was peaking about 1300 total test, and my E2 was spiking up in the 80s.

    It’s worse then I thought

He is full of it, at least on requiring you to get it from him. My doc called my script in to CVS (company insurance mail order), and they mail me 10ml at a time.

    Dude, Where's My Teeth?

It baffles me that the general consumer public doesn't know this already. I mean, really? You can TASTE the acid in almost all carbonated drinks. And people who drink lots of them should really know. I mean, almost everyone who drinks LOTS of soda, energy drinks, etc. will have some kind of...

having your manhood taken away while on trt.

I suspect they are talking about oral steroids, as they can be hard on the liver, which is true of aspirin as well. Same reason you shouldn't take aspirin, tylenol, etc if you are a heavy drinker.

Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) Update - 3 Weeks In

A 25g doesn't take long at all. I'm doing E3.5d right now, injecting in delts. Once I get my T and E2 dialed, I may consider going to E5d.

Doctor is a little slow, some opinions

Get your blood drawn before your shot, on the day you are to inject. Since you typically feel worse at the bottom of the swing, you want to engineer to that, not the peak. In other words, get the bottom to where you feel good, and the leak can be whatever it is, you should still feel good.

My testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) journey

I'll let you know when I have been at 120/wk for a while. On 150, my E2 was 84 at peak. I definitely feel it, too. Starting an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and trying to lose some weight (I am probably 30% BF) to help control that and get it dialed in.

    About to begin my journey

Easiest way I have found is to draw and shoot with a 5/8" 25g in the delt. Get a box of alcohol pads at the drugstore. Use one for the top of bottle, and one for your arm (or wherever). Make sure it evaporates before drawing and injecting, so the alcohol doesn't sting you. Just a smooth push in...

My testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) journey

If you are on the fence about self injecting, I would say - don't be! It really is easy and pretty painless. It is DEFINITELY worth not having to travel 2-3x a week for a 10 second shot. I have never had to inject anything (self or anyone else) before I started testosterone replacement therapy...

    New to TRT

Brazen, welcome to the 'Ology. Check your bloods when they come back, and see what your estradiol reading is, if they tested for it. If not, get it tested. Either by your doc or privatemdlabs (female hormone panel). JMO, but waking at night, hot flashes, sweats, etc. sounds like high E2 to me.
