Starting again from scratch. Need advice.

Good call, and will do. I never thought about them degrading. I've never ordered or any before and have no idea where to find a source. I'm not asking for one either, but could you point me in the right direction as to where to start? I live in the boondocks so going to a local gym isn't an...

Starting again from scratch. Need advice.

All good points and I agree with every one of them. I'm not looking to start a cycle right away. But I know how hard the stuff is to come by so I'm trying to accumulate what I need now. I'll start a cycle when I get back 200lbs plus and plateau. Might sound crazy but I'd bet I could get there...

Starting again from scratch. Need advice.

What's up y'all, I've just been cleared by my doc to start lifting again. I've had to take it easy for a while after crashing my bike. I busted my collar bone, wrist, hand, and six ribs. Needless to say my scrawny ass got even scrawnier. Any progress I made in the gym has been lost. Summer's...

    need advice for limited equipment

I'm 30 years old and my diet is pretty good I think. I try to eat six meals a day that come to about 4000 calories, 300 grams of protein and 400 carbs, give or take a few. I eat pretty clean and drink about a gallon of water day. if I stick to compound exercises such as deadlifts, squats...

    need advice for limited equipment

I'm looking to bulk up. I'm currently 6'3", 190 lbs and about 9% bf. I would consider myself to be more of a hardgainer than not. I've got a Smith machine with a lower and an upper cable, an Olympic bar with plenty of plates and two 25 lb dumbbells. Any suggestions as to what exercises to...

How do you know when you're overtraining?

As far as my routine was concerned, I didn't really have one set in stone. I would work whatever felt good at the time. I made sure to hit everything at least once a week.

How do you know when you're overtraining?

I'm 29 now. I was, and still am a rookie. I was taking all the supplements I could get in the beginning months. I also took some Deca for 5 weeks towards the beginning. I was uneducated on all that stuff and felt I was wasting money so I went straight protein and calories. I saw my biggest gains...

How do you know when you're overtraining?

Haha Good point. I guess my concern is whether or not I would have better results sticking to one muscle group and one workout per day.

How do you know when you're overtraining?

Hey y'all, New guy here. I spent 15 months in Iraq a couple years ago and decided to hit the gym while I was there. When I started, I was 6'3", 175 lbs and maxed out on the bench at an embarrassing 155 lbs. The day I left I put up 295 lbs and weighed in at 220 lbs. Are these decent gains? Or...
