    Thanks guys I guess what started my problem is 30 plus years of squats and deadlifts maybe ? I love them so much :nono: I finally found a good physio who spend some time with me and not just rush you off like some do and is pretty confident that he can fix me he said generally for my age my back...

    Hi guys its been awhile not sure if this in the right section but here goes a little background 54 years old been training with weights pretty consistently for 35 years or so until recently Long story short I have a small broad disc bulge on the lower back L5 which gave me problems with training...

    IMO I would not train legs twice in the same day why ? personally I would train the upper body on your second section in the gym let the legs recover otherwise the routine looks ok good luck cheers GT

    Welcome to the 50 club i would start with 2 days a week with light intensity training at first then go from there see how you feel then to 3 days a week do cardio each time you are in the gym keep your diet in check increase your protein intake reduce carbs to lose some weight good luck mate...
