    I just went through the thread and pictures. Great job man, obviously what 3J is doing is working. Its hard to get a good diet and even harder to follow one, looks like you have both going for you.

    I said virtually, 99% of people would be better off bulking/cutting. It can be done but your gains will be far easier/faster than if you try to do it doing a "clean bulk" That's what I was trying to say. Tricky and more time consuming imo. I think the eating is much harder this way too.

    its virtually impossible to gain lbm and stay lean. You need to eat and eat alot. It doesnt need to bve bad food choices but if you want to gain lbm then you need to eat well over maintenance. You can cut after you added the mass.

    I personally dont like the mixing of fats and carbs. If it were me i would make these changes. Meal 1 is ok but i would rather see whole foods. Meal 2 drop the peanut butter and flax. Meal 3 good Pre-workout snack should be a complex carb and small amount of protein Meal 4 is ok Meal 5 is good...

    depends....what is your current bf? if you do low impact your probably fine. If your sitting in single digit bf i wont think i would do too much.

    Depends on the fat but eating fat by itself isn't much different than eating carbs by themselves. it provides a source of energy.

    Yes, its a no-no. I didn't mean eat them together, i just meant anything more than 1.5g protein is a waste and you will benefit more by adding carbs and fats than protein. Most try to limit or eliminate fats and its a bad move IMO. Hell, i think anything more than 1g is probably a waste...

    No need for more than 1.5g protein per pound. Vary your fats and carbs. Keep your protein constant.

    notsofresh How do you know 3k is enough? You may require 3500, hell you may require 4k. If your eating clean and working hard add 200 cals a week until you start gaining weight. You need to dial in your maintenance level then go from there.
