After you lift do some interval training on a eliptical or cycle. 1 minute warm up, 4 minutes with 20 seconds as hard as you can go and 10 seconds slow, and then 1 minute cool down. It only tskes 6 minutes and it works. Do this atleast 3 times a week.
I agree, research shows that the two hour window after your workout is more important than any other time of day to take in protein. I can't eat a large meal pwo and whey protein digests quicker than anything else. Throw in some creatine with that shake and you have got youself a muscle cocktail.
Well this is my first post so here goes. I tried the 5x5 on Tuesday and I am not as sore as I usally am. Latley I have been doing 3 sets of 225lbs. and it makes me sore but I am going to stick with 5x5 for a few weeks and see what happens.
