1" into the glute??

depends on how big u r imo, I used the 1" for a few weeks (5'9" 176lbs @ the time) and didn't have any issues. I have been using the 1.5's lately though. oh this is for glute injections btw.

yeah it is for the glute. I"m 6'4" 240lbs. I'll give it a try, i just don't like putting sust. in my shoulder, hurts to damn much. That's what i usually use the 1" one's for.

Been using 1" pins for years in my glutes. If it makes you feel better, once you get the pin in, push in a little further as you inject, but even thats unnecesary. You'll be fine.

I disagree. At your size OP, you should be using 1.5" for your glutes, especially the ventrogluteal site.

I agree^^^^you might be to big for 1" in the glute.Use the 1" for the quad where there is less tissue to go throu.Other wise you might lose some of your gear by not making it deep enough in the muscle of the glute

Yeah, I 100% agree with that. I was not even that big and I used a 1" needle in my glute, and I got something that looked exactly like an abscess. It was big, red, and warm to the touch (it wasn't an abscess though). You definitely need a 1.5" needle.

I have a large backside and have used a 1 incher with no problems.I'm currently using 1.25" BD needles for glute shots.I dont use 1.5's for anything.I dont have lumps or knots but that may because I only shoot 2 ml max in the glutes.

Why SHOULD he? As long as he is getting that shot down in to the muscle and it dissapates fine, whats the difference? Not saying you're wrong, we all have our opinions, I just personally don't see what difference it makes how big you are when it comes to injects, unless you're a complete fatass. lol

Either way, take all the advice and use what works best for you. Good luck.
