1st cycle, feedback please.

"IRIONWARRIOR"
(1st) I would like to say hello to everyone.
(2nd) I am new to this forum but not to bodybuilding.
(3rd) I have viewed alot of threads and have absorbed alot of great info. The people here seem to be very intelligent and eager to help the people who are serious in the persuit of realistic goals.

So here we go:
Age: 39
Weight: average about 170lbs
Height; 6'0"
Bodyfat: 10-15% around belly, I'm a hardgainer forsure, I stay tone and muscular except in that area. Prob cuz I am lazy at ab excercises. lol

I have been lifting for about 20yrs on and off depending which one of life's crisis's pops up and distracts the intended goal. Alot of up's and down's but now I have platued and I am not getting the size I crave. Which I will attribute to my genetics and age. (gotta blame something) My biggest and best was 204lbs with good quality muscle in my early to mid 30's. I have never used any gear but have always wanted to try because of the horror storys of long ago. After alot of researched those storys seem to be more about abusers and un-informed people who do the run and jump deal and ask ?'s later. I did get some stuff online but... I got burned by one of the two sources I tried, so I have 1/2 my cycle. Will not start until I have all. But anyway the feedback I am looking for is about the cycle I have chosen.

8wks:
200-400-400-400-400-400-400-200mg Deca Durabolin wkly.
5-6-6-6-6-6-6-5 tabs dianabol oral dly per wk.
Followed by Nolvadex.

I would appreciate any feedback from all the good people her. Is this a good 1st timers cycle? Or is there a better one for my stats? My goal is to reach between 190-200lbs under 10%bf

Thanx,:)

Great cycle if youre celibate.

First of all, theres a HUGE difference between 10 and 15%. At 12% your abs start to show, at 10% you should have a 6 pack. So since youre saying you have fat around your midsection im gonna guess your closer to 15%, maybe higher, who knows without a pic. Which leads me to my point that youre not very likely a hardgainer if you have midsection fat, youre probably just not mentally willing to eat the amount of calories it takes to gain out of fear of adding more midsection fat.

Post your diet.

U r prob correct, I would be more of the 15-20% area. sorry no pics yet. My diet is alot of protien foods like chicken and veggies and I try to stay away from fatty foods. What I menat by hardgainer is that the muscle gains come by alot of freakin sweat. Some guys can just look at the weights and get big, not me. It has always been a struggle to add muscle. As I get older the more I learn and try to adapt to newer and cleaner ways of eating and lifting. So by saying celibate I am not sure what u mean, is this a good start or not, please be a lil more specific and which way in your opinion should I be going?

Also, yes I am afraid of putting the cals in the wrong place. being my stomach. But still This is what I see in the mirror. will try to get some pics to be more helpful. My wife says I'm not fat. But u cant see the 6-pack until I tighten it all up. lol

Lol. what i meant by being celibate was thats a guaranteed cycle to make your 'equipment' stop working. Deca without Testosterone usually results in Deca dick. A Testosterone only cycle is the way to go for a first timer but i dont want to get ahead of myself here.

Okay, noboy gets big just by looking at the weights. You have to eat. The guys that are big, they eat big. Its the only way. You need carbs. A good rule of thumb for gaining is at least 1g of carb for every gram of protein. Stick with complex carbs like oatmeal, pasta, brown rice, and youll be less likely to put on unwanted fat. You need fat in your diet too. Fat should make up 20% of your diet but stick with good fats like olive oi, fish oil, natural peanut butter. Your diet sounds too clean, youll never gain off it. Your calories are probably just high enough to keep you from shedding that last bit of weight but not nearly high enoug hto gain off of.

Point behind all this is whatll likely happen if you run a cycle with your current eating habits is youll gain a little strength from the gear itself, put on 10-15lbs of water, and then when its all over the strength will go away and youll be likely left with more midsection fat then when you started.

Deca dick! Doesnt sound to appealing. lol I need more research. I was checking out a lot of novice cycles on the net to come up w/this cycle. But of course they are trying to sell product and not sell what I really need. I will review my eating habits more. I tend to have to put aside my eating goals sometimes because work is such a distraction and I get busy. Didn't think I could eat more, but i could improve on it. I also drink a protien supplement to make up for what I sometimes miss. But over the yrs of lifting I know in my mind that I will need some help from a cycle. So much info out there it sometimes is confusing as well as overwhelming, I will stock the deca and try to come up w/a good 1st timers cycle and use that later w/test. I know I am new to the forum but, would you have any suggestions on what I really should be looking for gaining a good amount of mass that won't dissapear after the cycle?

Test is best. Once you learn to eat to gain and lose weight, Testosterone will be a good addition. Its a great mass builder, will put you sex life into overdrive(this is good for some and bad for others, lol), and with proper post cycle therapy (pct) youll keep alot of your gains. This being said, its pretty much useless till you know how to eat.

As far as protein supplementation, I try to get at least 75g of protein every meal. So say i get a footlong steak and cheese from subway thats 50g of protein roughly so ill eat a scoop of whey with it to get me to 75g. I rarely use powder as a stand alone meal replacement though. Eating solid food is important.

Yes, I do agree. He has given some good advice. And I will use it, it is hard not to jump in and start using gear w/out the proper info. Alot of peeps do so and the outcomes are usually, loss of $$$, bad gear and possible medical problems. It will be damn hard puttin it off, but is the better choice for now. I need to focus on eating more & more research into the 1st cycle, I hate to admit it but I did just what I was trying to avoid. I ordered what I thought was o.k for a 1st.
Outcome= Wasted $$$ (got burned on a order)
Recieved gear that I might not use for awhile
I wasn't as up to date on my research as I thought I was.

Alot of info out there and sometimes it gets a lil' confusing.

What estray is saying is very good advice and you don't need anything more.

Sort out your diet, make sure your training is correct and for your first cycle, 12 weeks of Test E or Test C at 500mg a week. Make sure you prepare for your post cycle therapy (pct) in advance. Don't add anything else for your first cycle and no orals.

If you find anything confusing or your not sure, check the newbie section here or just ask.
