1st cycle, Opinions wanted.

Hi, my names Joe. I'm 24 years old, 155 pounds, 5'7" 12% body fat? slim/athletic build, good muscle definition. Currently training for special forces I have a solid foundation looking to take it to the next level in the next 8-10 months.

I can run and swim for days, My strength specifically muscular endurance and my weight is something I've struggled to improve on. I'm currently 4 weeks into a 3 month program. It's 4x a week strength program with running/swimming 6x a week. I got slow but very nice results doing a 4 month Wendler type program. Built a pretty solid base for myself Doing mostly all lifts well above body weight (minus overhead press) Shoulder strength and overhead lifts definitely my weaker lifts.

My diet: fairly consistent taking in about 3000 calories a day and 150 grams of protein. Very tough for me to maintain because I'm uncomfortably full after most meals but I assume I'll adjust to eating more. Mainly meat and vegetables increasing carb's the best I can.

Goals: A 15 - 25 pounds weight gain. I want to stay somewhat lean (tough to picture myself too bulky since I've always been slim) I want to maintain a decent level of cardio (run/swim times) But most of all I want to improve size and muscular endurance. Slightly bigger than a swimmers build.

My plan is to do a 10 week cycle using test-e and arimidex then a post cycle therapy (pct) of clomid.
Would prefer to inject once a week was thinking 300mg per week. while using arimidex during the cycle.

Any dosing recommendations/opinions for my body type and goals would be greatly appreciated. I've also been thinking just do test-e and then post cycle therapy (pct) with clomid.

Sorry for the novel but figured it was better than "Hey bro what cycle should I do?"
 
If you want to gain mass your going to have to cut down on your cardio, eat more clean calories and take in more than 150g of protein. I suggest you see 3J in the diet section and get that straightend out. You don't need steroids to be slightly bigger than a swimmers build. 300mg per week is barely more than a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose of test. I suggest you rethink this cycle, because at 155lbs you are not close to ready.
 
I would hit up 3j in the diet section 1st. As far as your cycle 300mg is only gonna take you alittle above what your body is producing right now. 500-600mg each week. One pin monday one thurs to keep blood levels stable.

Pct two weeks after last pin and add nolva with the clomid.

You need to up your calories, I know its hard but its a must. Please get diet tight before you jump on. try and get an extra 10lbs on your frame before. Some might disagree but this is my opinion.

Also way to much cardio.
 
Not exactly what I wanted to hear. but I understand where your coming from. Its just been a few months of gaining ten pounds then going back down in weight. I'll get my diet down to a science and cut down the cardio and see where it takes me...slow but steady i suppose.

This fucking Meathead guy knows his game. I would advise word for word as he stated.

Just don't go crazy on the protein, especially the powders are showing up causing guys trouble later in life :-(

Trust me at your size and age you should be able to grow a lot more without steroids. I started off at 135lbs and i'm 5'8''. I was stuck around 160lbs for a long time and I thought I was a "hard gainer" but It turned out I was just doing way too much cardio and not eating nearly enough. I got up to 190lbs before my first cycle and that was with low test levels (total T in the 200's). Going to see 3J and getting him to set you up a diet and cutting down on cardio is where its at for you right now. You will grow like a weed if you do it right. And then think about a cycle down the line.
