Hello all.
First post here.

I have 2 quick questions.

First, I've had someone tell me that if your using AAS you will definitely get gyno ( or if not definitely then at least most likely/very probable) and that it won't even matter much if your running a proper oct and pct or not, you'll still most likely get gyno.

Second, this same person told me that the only way to deal with gyno is to get surgery and also if you have the surgery done than you can never get gyno again? Is this true?
He also told me that you can have the surgery done before you ever get gyno or use AAS and then you can never get gyno. Is this true?

So basically, for #1, is it true about probably getting it and oct and pct not mattering/helping much.
And for #2, is this possible/true?

Thanks in advance to all who help

Answer to #1: No you will not get gyno no matter what, dont listen to that nonsense!!

Answer to #2: If you get the gland removed, no you will have no chance of getting it again. If you only get the tissue removed and not the gland then yrs you can still get tissue build up again i you not running an AI or SERM

Shredder,

I'm curious, what gland are you referring to, and are there any potential side effects of having this gland removed?

You can prevent gyno by controling estrogen on cycle. Testosterone aromatizes into estradiol. Aromatase Inhibitors reduce the amount of test that converts into estradiol.

SERMs can be used to shrink gyno. Raloxifene is the preferred one to use.

I've had gyno surgery so I'm speaking from experience here. Yes you can get it again. I've had it flair up while adjusting my AI dose on cycle. The doctor told me they try their best to remove the gland but its very difficult to remove 100% of it.

Its the mammary gland, and no there arent any side effects in males by having them removed, except not getting gyno again ;)

In regards to ? number one , not true. Some folks are more sensitive to E2 and if the proper use of serm's or an AI is not followed, it could POTENTIALLY be a problem.

In regards to your second question, your friend may be closer to the truth. Some guys have reduced existing gyno with the use of letrozole. I don't know how much truth there is to this. It may just be a better example of bro-science. Letrozole is a very powerful AI and should be used with caution.
