200 mg test-cypionate (100 mg mon, 100 mg thurs)

Hey guys,

I have a friend on 200 mg of testosterone cypionate for his trt, by his doctor. At first he was injecting once a week 200 mg. I told him to split his injection up because one injection of 200 mg may spike his T too much and make it harder to control e2.

He also does not use an ai. I told him that he should probably use some arimidex if he can't get any erections. Also, I told him to get labs.

What would be a good starting dose for adex at 200 mg test/week (100 mon, 100 wed)?

Anybody else use 200 mg of test cyp for trt? Sounds kind of high.

200mg is usually the upper limit, and will put many or most guys above physiological range, at which point the dose will likely be reduced.
Your friend will almost certainly need an AI on that dose. I think 0.5mg twice a week day after pin is a good starting point.

Cool, yea I have some experience with trt but not enough to give him advice. I told him adex at .25 twice a week to be safe, but I'd ask around.

He really needs to get labs but his doctor won't write labs for estradiol. Thinks there's no need for an ai. He should get labs on privatemdlabs

Yeah, on second thought .25 twice a week. Better to start with too little than too much.

Tell him he can bypass his doctor and check his estrogen levels by going to privatemdlabs.com and ordering an Estradiol Sensitive test. Female hormone panel is a good test, but it does not test estradiol using the sensitive assay. It does test estradiol, but of the non-sensitive kind. Estradiol Sensitive is the best test for Estradiol in men, but the normal Estradiol test will work too, just realize that the 25-28 estradiol score that everyone is striving to achieve is based on the sensitive assay. Non-sensitive estradiol results are usualy 15-20 points higher. As long as you know this, getting the non-sensitive version is fine

I take 240mg of cyp weekly split into 2 doses and .50 mg of arimedex split into 2 doses same day as injection. My e2 runs a little on the low side but i have no problems. My test levels are in the 950 range. Every one is different 240mg to me may put you way over. You have to do labs, cant really go by what anyone else does your body will react differently.

how long did it take your doc to put you on that dose? I'm hoping to get there soon getting checked next week. On 200mg/month still a slug.

When I started with 200mg I was taking .5mg anastrozole the day after my Test. I ended up increasing that to 1mg about a month later. I would definitely start with .5mg instead of 1mg. You don't want your e2 crashing.
