21 yo - bulking cycle before jaw surgery

Hi, guys.

I need to undergo orthognathic surgery in about 5 months' time. My lower jaw is being advanced to fix my underbite.

I have been training steadily since November 2011 and have increased my weight from 50 kilos to 65 kilos.

Age: 21
Height: 1,73m
Body fat percentage: 8%
Training schedule: 5 days a week, usually 2 hours a day split up

My diet hasn't always been 100% under control. For the past couple of months, however, it's been my main focus and I can safely say that it's under control now.

I usually start off with 6 egg whites, 1 egg yolk. Then 3 to 4 additional meals: 200 grams of lean protein each, brown rice or sweet potatoes on the side, 1 slice of pineapple. Add to that, usually 2 to 3 mass building protein shakes inbetween meals.

When I have orthognatic surgery, I will have to follow a liquid diet. I have heard of people losing as much weigh as 15 kilos. I really don't want to return to my skinny kid days.

That said, I also want to think healthy, be healthy and stay healthy. Steroids at my age should be a no-no.

Because I'm scared of steroids, my personal trainer (and steroid supplier) recommended HGH - I asked him which way I could gain muscle mass safely, in small amounts (I would love to gain muscle mass, but I don't want to gain THAT much; the balloon animal look isn't for me) and not lose it. I wanted to try IGF or MGF because only certain muscle groups need additional size (chest, arms), but he said no, HGH, is the way to go.

Since then, this fear of losing weight has been bothering me a great deal. So, I adjusted my limits. I asked him for advice on 1 mass bulking cycle. His recommendation: Primobolan, Equipoise (+ maybe Test?).

I am not rushing into anything at the moment. All I want is some answers.

Will HGH/anabolic steroids have a negative effect on the outcome of orthognathic surgery? Is it too risky? HGH increases jaw size and I don't want to screw around with my jaw anymore than I have to.
Is my diet as perfect as I would want to believe it is?
Is it at all a good idea to run a mass bulking cycle as a way to gain weight before orthognathic surgery, in order to combat inevitable weight loss?
The idea of just running 1 'ol cycle and then never taking steroids again is make believe bullshit, right?
HGH versus anabolic steroids? 1 or the other?
Should I just stay away from everything instead?

I welcome all advice.

Stay away from AAS for a few more years. You have lots to lose and little to gain that you couldn't gain naturally.

First up, good work on your natural progress. Keep it up!

Secondly, not a good idea that you have proposed. You'd lose all of your muscle mass anyway, being that the muscle growth will be relatively new and you won't be long off PCT by that time aswell.

One thing I've learned anything is possible with diet... You just gotta be smart about food choices. Theres no reason you have to lose weight on a liquid diet. It's not exactly optimal but if you have to you have to. Its quite easy to make mass gainer shakes at home - they taste great and you can basically put as much calories in as you want.

Try blending up some milk, couple scoops protein, chuck in some bananas/other fruit, blend in some oats, couple spoons of peanut butter, whatever man you get the drift... You can easily make a shake worth 1000calories. In fact three of those would have you at bulking calories. See what I mean? Easy. Make them however you like.

Btw i dont suggest actually bulking on this.. You should shoot for maintenance calories :)

If anything i would recommend 40mg anavar to bridge over your healing process, starting a week before your surgery. If you keep it under 6 weeks total imo you don't need PCT and you won't loose any size or strength as you're healing up. You can bulk up now naturally and then take advantage of the anavar/liquid diet to cut. Var might help the healing process as well, if anything it can't hurt. Really you could get your protine/cals easily via shakes but i'm sure you won't feel like working out and chugging all that slop when you're hurting. Best of luck bro. Careful of the percocets.

^^ This guy is a retard.
Bmays, Don't u go here advising people some shitty unhealthy routes.

Op: Like bigkit said , put that guy recommendations in the trash.

very irresponsible to give a young guy bad advice like this...it can and will hurt.
Anyways...muscle has memory. If you had the muscle then you lose it, it will come back twice as fast. My experience: bulked from 160 to 190 lbs in about two years. Moved away for 6 months, became a hippie and didnt touch weights. Dropped down to 165. Got home and hit the weights and got back on a good diet and was back at 190 within 4 months. If you had it before...it will come back fast (working out and eating right of course).
