protein shakes are shit in the nutrition aspect, but there is times for whey protein and times for casein protein. if my man here is cutting maybe that casein protein is alright, but whey protein surely has it's role in bodybuilding.....it's a fabulous weight gaining tool and I advise all new bodybuilders to use it. Not casein protein
80% o my protein come from whey powder! and i think its bull shit when people say its not good or your should just eat more.

and being bodybuilding for first 3 years i went from 156lbs 5 7' "higher bf% in core area" to 190lbs and MUCH lower bf% and only reez i dont see abs very well is im bloated being in mid bulking.
thats somthing like 40lbs in 3 years . before i didnt take any whey protein or work out and ate mostly carbs potatos,pop,chocolat,chips,beans, rice and that stuff.
as long as you have your amount right
like eg. high protein, med-highcarb,modfat,
you can grow nicly if training is on point.
i say "fuk you" to all that say protein powders arnt good.
im an exp of soem one who get 70-80% of there protein daily JUST from powders.
and im growing just fine. i think meat is disgusting to eat dead carcusis of flesh i thinks its disterbing really but to each his own.
I also agree whey for bodybuilding i would ony use casin when cutting or right before bedtime but NOT as my day source.
