As the title states, I'm 39 years old and started my first ever cycle 33 days ago.
A little about me: I'm 6'3, 284lbs., pushin 40... I've lifted regularly for 25 years but don't consider myself an expert, although I've gotten pretty good at listening to my own body. I'm here because I'd like to knock an item off the bucket list and compete in a show this spring. Any and all help whether it be positive or negative is appreciated.
Cycle:
250mg test cyp every 3 days for 12 weeks. 50mg Anadrol/day for 30 days. Possibly decca for the remaining 8 weeks. Still undecided.
Before I go any further lemme just say ANADROL! holy hell. 0 fatigue, 0 post workout soreness. I have to force myself to take a rest day.
I started the cycle at 263lbs. 21lb. gain thus far, but today is the last day for Anadrol.
My elbows and shoulders are sore. Shoulders to the point that I no longer flat barbell bench, and I haven't overhead pressed in ages. The elbow problem was curbed with cheap wraps from walmart.
I'll be the first to admit I made mistakes along the way. Firstly, I didn't plan for pct (or even know what it was, until I googled my cycle). So I have nothing at the moment. I've been told I won't need it until the entire cycle is over, but that contradicts about everything I've read. I'm a little worried to say the least. I don't want to end up with boobs from poor planning. Secondly, I let a friend pressure me into partying all night a week ago, which led to 6lb. weight loss and bloody stools for 4 days. Never again
With Anadrol I've been able to lift 6 days a week, sometimes twice a day with no muscle soreness. Joints are a separate issue.
A couple questions for the educated
1. Now that I'm done with Anadrol, and this being my first cycle, is switching to decca foolish, redundant, etc...? I've read that it has a positive affect on joints.
2. Should I be starting pct now, even though I'm still on test for another 8 weeks?
I plan on n2gear and milk thistle immediately, but I'm worried about gyno. I had no idea how powerful anadrol was when I bought it, and the benefits made it easy to ignore the consequences, by telling myself "there's still time".
