Right after my workout i have a protein shake, however i was wondering how long I should wait to eat a real meal? do I treat my shake as a meal and wait another 2-3 hours, or can I eat a meal roughly an hour after my shake?
i usually have my shake at the gym, and then within an hour of getting home ill have my next meal. and i will count them both as actual meals, but just with a short time in between the two.
