3J's Diet Log (6 Month Clean Bulk)

Methodology

I am banned!
Hi all, been a real long time since I've been around here, just started a 6 month bulk, and wanted to make a log of progress. Not getting in to specifics yet, but I was 170lbs when I started, and hope to break 230lbs by the time I'm done. I've gained 3lbs in clean weight, since I started just less than a week ago.

Week 1

Been about 6 days now since I started, starting at a really desperate time where my body badly needs nutrition, dropping almost 15lbs in just over a month, due to heavy work and lack of a consistent diet. I'm not terribly out of shape, but my first workout in the gym tonight, after almost 3 months, pretty much showed how much has changed in the last little while. I managed to do 3 of 5 circuit sets, (which at 199lbs, I had difficulty doing all 5), not the best, shows how much has changed, and I could barely even bench 180lbs (just before I took time off, 1RM 360lbs, and was doing 270lbs for reps). I'm pretty much in the same shape as I was in, just prior to running Test E 6 months ago. Its only the first week in a gruesome diet where I literally drink solid objects, but already I can feel my body getting into diet mode. Future plans are to run test again a few months down the road, when I'm back in the shape I was before I quit, but this time I will actually have a deadly clean diet to back up my gains, so I don't just fall apart after my PCT.

Good luck bro, you are in good hands with 3J.. keep us updated, keep pushing all ya got in the gym and follow his words to a tee and you can literally watch yourself change in the mirror from day to day..

Literally I can already feel a difference and see a difference in my eating habits, I just can't wait for that day I look in the mirror and am stone cold cut.

Week 3

Just into my 3rd week now, already noticed a significant difference in my muscle tone, haven't gained as much weight as I thought, I started at 170lbs, am at 175lbs. I've dropped a few inches around my waist, thighs, and stomach, as well as being able to barely physically see my abs at rest (which is totally awesome). The only part of the diet that's difficult to follow is the consistent eating, its just eats up so much time, like for instance, I go for lunch at work, from the point I sit down I start eating, and by the time I'm done eating, its time for me to go back to work, even gobbling food down as I go out the door. I haven't gotten as much feedback from 3J as I would have liked, since our hours aren't aligned, I guess he's quite busy, and its a different level of coaching, ultimately it comes down to self-discipline, and he's just my calculator. I feel like I have to strip down to bare muscle, before I start to gain.

Week 4

So far, I feel like taking 4 months off was a tragedy in itself, I've dropped 33% in my overall strength after taking some time off to relax, I went to the gym, and could barely armcurl 30lbs, my breathing is out of sync, and my focus is off since I have someone pop into my line of sight every 5 minutes (and its 11pm at the gym). Training aside, I can start to noticeably see my abs more and more everyday, seemingly cutting and gaining at the same time. It is frustrating not gaining as much as in my previous diets, but this one consists of much more food intake, while others were shake this, shake that, it might also have to do with the extremely low quality/choice of food I have to eat at work, 3 weeks out of every month, and the excessive cardio and overlifting at work. I don't feel like 3500cals is enough for me to really gain as fast as I would like. When I have more time and its not almost midnight, with work in 6h, I'll post up my starting pics, and about where I am now.
