5 Days until Show Time!

Wow, you are a big boy! 4.5% fat, wow, that's awesome!
Good luck this weekend. We'd love to see some pics!

good luck SH -- that is definitely a LONG diet! Especially with so much time in between shows. This coming weekend will be my 3rd comp in the past 5 weeks and then I'm done for the year. Hang in there, it will be worth it!

By the way, could you post the details of your planned carb-up for this weekend? Our comp stats look very similar -- I'm 5'11", 227 at last weigh-in 2 weeks ago, and was at 5% (6-site caliper method, Jackson-pollock formula) last week. I'm getting tighter every day, but ready for the big carb-up starting either tomorrow afternoon or Thursday AM.

I plan on overcarbing this show so that I can dial in just right...I want to know exactly when I start to spill! I am starting today around 1pm. I am taking in approx 500-700 g/carbs via pie filling to get aroung bloating. I am eating about 1/2 my normal protein intake so I am at 180-200g via chicken. I am not a huge sodium watcher because I go by the method that your body will respond to relative amounts of sodium intake, so it is not necessary to drop it to rediculous levels. Water depletion starts on thursday and aldactone starts friday p.m.
I am not using insulin yet but if I get crazy I might give it a chance, I just don't want to end up like Paul Dillet.

We will see about the pics...maybe I will put on my "hydroxy cut add" befores and afters.

Thanks for the info. So is that 500-700g for today? And how much each day for the rest of the week?

I agree about not overdoing it with the sodium depletion. Eat well, and good luck!

Well I am tossing on a coat of ProTan and hopping in the car. Gonna try to make the night time weigh in just to get some nerves out of me.
