5x5 back routine

Does this sound like a good 5x5 back routine?

Conventional Deads 5x5
front lat pulldowns 2x8-10
cable rows 2x8-10

looks fine to me..im not a big fn of cable rows id rather do bb rows or 1 arm dbell rows weighted chins..jsut my opion..the main thing you got is deads and i always do someform of lat pulls..so yeah it looks pretty good

I also work traps with back, but i was reading a thread that was saying deadlifts were enough for traps. I usually do bb rows but when i do dl's first it's really hard for me to do them because of lower back pain. Do you think the amount of sets is adequate enough to stimulate muscle growth in all areas of the back (i.e. lats). I appreciate all the help.

deads are plenty of r your traps but if you want to do 1 or 2 work sets of shrugs thats fine just dont go crazy with 10 sets for traps..try it out see how it goes if your unhappy change it up maybe only do 3x5 for deads and add 2 sets of chins/weighted chins

im thinking of seperating my back into widening and thickening days and doing

deads 5x3 (25 reps is murder)
back extensions 2x8
bent rows 5x5
cable rows 2x8
--for thickness

pullups 5x5
pulldowns 2x8-10
--for widening, on the same day as shoulders

any thoughts, suggestions?

i want to do it like this because I feel that deads, bent rows, and pullups are major core lifts that need to be given the full 5x5

i do one exercise for back thickness and one for back width. on the same day. one or two all out sets of each.

i am not a 5x5 fan as you can tell. =0)
