6 Year Transformation: Skinny to Big

Started lifting about 6 years ago. Weighing in at 135lbs. Bulked for 5 and a half years to 202lbs. Just finished my first cut (12 weeks) and am now at 181lbs. Will run a maintenance phase for a month or so and then TRY and cut another 12 weeks to do a Men's Physique show in November. Been a long road, but it has been an exciting one! I could ramble on forever, but if any of you hard gainers have questions, feel free to shoot them here. View attachment 564756

Mostly just testosterone. I've ran deca twice, had good results with both in helping me increase my strength. Ran equipoise on this cut with good success, but sprinkled throughout, I would just run a simple 1ml a week of testosterone for 12 weeks while doing heavy bulks.

did you have your testosterone levels checked prior to beginning to lift or run gear ? just curious if you were deficient and that was part of your low body weight and possible 'hard gainer' issue before.

correcting a test deficiency can result in pretty massive gains. I put on 33 pounds my first 6 months of going on TRT (and stayed at 12%bf). heading towards 50+ pounds now. I could never put on muscle prior to fixing my low testosterone issue . just curious if you were in the same boat

Good question! Yes, I had it checked and it was around 425. I was almost 30 at the time. Doc thought it was ok but he's a big advocate of trt so he hooked me up. Didn't start running it until about 2 years into lifting though. I was at about 160 at that point I believe. My real results came after a friend of mine who is doctor in Sports Physiology started writing my diets for me. That's when the real results happened.

Top looks great, now time to work on the chest & abs and define them and then youll be a true beast. :)
