AAS and training: how to adjust workouts w/ AAS

no i have the book aswell it is a great read worth every penny

Oh lord, somebody migth dissagree but many wont...ARNOLD didnt know fuck all about training, or very litle. If he did he would of been a lot lot bigger. He was a genetic freak.

When im on cycle i train pretty much the same but lift more heavy. I believe that the stronger you are, the bigger you will be.

Two very good quetes:

1. ´´Stop reading bodybuilding magazines´´ Loue Simmons

2. ´´Everybody wanna be a bodybuilder, but aint nobody wanna lift those heavy ass weigths´´ Ronnie Coleman.

bt the book im waiting for a buddy to finish it and then im going to read it! WHAT ARE THE REP RANGES??

switch it up a lot and shock the shit out of your muscles it stimulates rapid growth. Speed training and core concentration training helps too. If you like power theres no better than westside. Good luck bro and best advice i can give while training on gear is train smart so you dont get hurt and its all wasted.

All the stuff in parentheses are #'s of reps done in a descending pyramid, and the rest are done for 4 sets of 10 or so. I think you can vary it up, too, if you want... I do this with the bench, mostly, w/ a warmup set, then a set of 10, then 8, then 6, then rep out with the weight I used for 10. Stuff like that. In his book there are also lots of explanations about advanced training principles, and how to shock the muscles and add variation through supersets, drop sets, negatives, positives, etc.

Yes and Flex, Muscle And Fitness etc. are great ways to learn about training too.

Personally, I don't think it's a very good routine. Why would you want to work every muscle group at once when you can focus on 2 at a time, and let them recover while you give your attention to the rest of the muscles on other days.

Chest/Tri
Back/Bis
Off or Cardio/Core
Delts/Traps
Legs/Core
Off or Cardio

Learn it, live it, love it.

I love 5x5 routines, the sheer volume of it is overwhelming. Also, training day 1, day 2, day 1, day 2, day 1, day 2 over and over and over is going to lead to overtraining incredibly fast.
