Abs, calfs & forarms training during a week

Once a week for forearms. Because you work your forearms when you lift for other bodyparts and you don't want to over train them. Try doing direct forearm exercises before doing your bicep workout! Some people don't even do direct forearm work because they feel that they are working them good enough in other exercises.

I used to do abs 3x per week. Now I am taking RealGains advice and will only do abs once per week and see how that works.

And just like abs I am starting to do calfs only once per week. I was doing calfs every 4-5 days. So I shall see what a few extra days of rest will do.

Just try one day per week for everything and see how that goes. Then you could try doing it 2 days per week so you can compare.

once for calf and twice for forearm and three times for abs. ?

forearm already gets worked with legs/back and abs for squat/bench/deads

calves can be worked diffrently since it is a damn stubborn muscle for most people and I think, per experience, it can be worked for many times. that's just my 2 cents

I do abs twice, calves once and I don't do forearms directly. Off season I was doing calves twice because I lag in that area. But since I won't be making anymore gains while dieting I only do them once to maintain what I have.

If that's him pulling his son, that's awesome father-son time, it really is quite ingenious. To the original poster, I train calves and forearms once a week and abs twice.
