Hello my question is how come every time I do abs my stomach muscle start to tighten up? They get so bad that I can't even stand up straight up and this is only after the second set.
 
try doing a few sets of press ups first. it's like a pushup but keep ur pelvis in contact with the floor, hold the position for a second then repeat.
 
yea, stand with your legs a bit wider than shoulder width, extend ur arms in the air and bend sideways and if ur doing the right side try and touch ur ankle with ur right hand, don't have to touch the ankle jus aim towards it and don't bend ur knees, then repeat for the left side. that will stretch ur obliques..
 
another good warm-up is ab contractions, flex ur abs and hold for a few seconds then release, and repeat. planks and side planks are good 2. use the floor at first than you can move on 2 a medicine ball or a yoga ball.
